Please be advised that Johnson & Johnson/McNeil Consumer Healthcare has voluntarily begun a recall of certain children’s over-the-counter liquid medicines because of manufacturing deficiencies. It is reported that “the deficiencies may affect the potency, purity or quality of the products” and that consumers should “Stop using certain lots of infants’ and children’s Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl products.”
I have reviewed all the products stored at our Center and will send home any products identified in the recall. Please assess the NDC Code and UPC Code on products in your home as well. A complete list of recalled items (and refund information) is available at www.mcneilproductrecall.com.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Liz, Village Babies R.N.
In an effort to increase the flow of traffic in our rear lot we are asking that you promptly exit the parking area after pick-up and/or drop off. In the event that you are staying at the center for an extended length of time, we ask that you find on-the-street parking.
In addition, we have asked all of our staff members to refrain from parking in the rear lot in order to better accommodate our drop-off and pick-up.
Please be advised that permission is
for those who wish to park in the rear lot on a regular basis. If you have been given permission to use the lot for parking, please email your license plate number, car make and model for our records. All cars that are not registered with us will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Also, we will meet with an officer from the South Orange Police Department on Monday, April 12 regarding alternatives for the safer exiting of our lot onto Valley Street. This meeting is in response to the petition that we had previously submitted.
Thank you for your cooperation!

On Tuesday, January 12, the Caribbean nation of Haiti was hit by a 7.0 earthquake that has devastated the lives of its residents and so much of its capital city, Port-au-Prince.
Every day, life presents us with “teachable moments.” The recent catastrophe in Haiti is one of these moments. This is an opportunity for all of us to teach our children empathy and global citizenship. This is a time for us to lead by example and to teach our children love and compassion by caring for others.
The Village Babies community is seeking your help in assisting the people of Haiti in any way that you can. Donations of non-perishable food items, clothing, toys, etc. will be collected and forwarded to the Yéle Haiti Foundation, a grassroots movement that builds global awareness for Haiti while helping to transform the country through programs in education, sports, the arts and environment. Yéle’s community service programs include food distribution and mobilizing emergency relief. You may also make a $5.00 donation by simply texting, YELE to 501501. 100% of your donation will go directly to the Earthquake Relief Fund.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to stop by the office or call us.
Thank you in advance for your support of this important cause!
